Who runs this site
This website is operated by Cy Pharmacy Duty. Contact: info@cypharmacyduty.online.
Your location
If you tap "Near me", your browser asks permission to share your device location. It is used only inside your browser to centre the map and calculate distances. It is never sent to or stored on our servers. You can refuse or withdraw permission at any time in your browser settings.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser's local storage keeps your language choice and map positions of pharmacy addresses, so pages load faster. You can clear this anytime by clearing site data in your browser.
Third parties
The site is hosted by Lovable and its hosting providers. Map images come from OpenStreetMap and pharmacy addresses are located using the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service (only the pharmacy address is sent, never your location). These services receive your IP address as part of any normal web request. When you tap Google Maps or Waze, you leave this site and their own privacy policies apply.
Pharmacists' names
Pharmacy listings include the pharmacist's name and pharmacy phone number exactly as published in the open roster by the Pharmaceutical Services. We republish them only so the public can find the duty pharmacy (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)), never show private home numbers, and correct or remove entries on request.
Legal basis
Your device location is used only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in your browser. Running and securing the website relies on our legitimate interest in providing a free public-information service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long data is kept
We store no personal data on our servers. Technical request logs kept by our hosting provider are short-lived and used only for security and reliability. Settings saved in your browser stay there until you clear them.
Transfers outside the EU
Some service providers (hosting, maps) may process your IP address outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
We do not hold personal data about you. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent, by emailing us. You have the right to complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
